There are only 323 enterprises certified by the World Fair Trade Organization, and we've partnered with one of them to bring you organic, fair trade apparel. The WFTO certification guarantees people and planet above profit.

As a member of 1% for the Planet, we're part of a community of businesses committed to giving back and protecting the environment.  Through financial contributions and volunteering, the community supports the hard work that conservation groups take on: climate and pollution action, sustainable land management, wildlife conservation and more. 1% for the Planet ensures its members are maintaining their commitments and supporting vetted and high-quality environmental organizations. As a member, Happy Earth is committed to donating a minimum of 1% of our revenue to charitable organizations through our Tree Planting, Climate Change, and Trash Clean-Up projects.

Developing, producing, and shipping items all use energy and produce carbon dioxide. Wherever possible, steps are taken to reduce energy and fuel consumption - in fact, organic cotton has a much smaller carbon footprint than conventional cotton - but in today's world, it's impossible to avoid greenhouse gases.

​

We're dedicated to making a positive impact, and that includes not contributing to climate change. Each item has a "carbon cost", which is the amount of carbon dioxide created to manufacture and ship an item to its final destination. We buy "carbon offsets" by supporting projects that prevent carbon dioxide emission, which balances out the carbon dioxide we create. This ensures that we - and you - aren't hurting the planet with your purchase.
